A total of 8,358 kindergarten and elementary pupils in Valenzuela public schools receive free school supplies from Mayor REX Gatchalian, Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad – Borja, Congressman WES Gatchalian and city elected officials at the first day of the Balik Eskwela Project in different barangays of district one, May 18, 2019. Each pupil took home backpacks containing textbooks, notebooks and other school supplies. The city government is expecting to have handed more than 85,000 school packages by the time it finishes the distribution on May 22.
